Do you provide towels and bedding?
One bath and hand towel per person and bedding is provided.
Do you provide cots and high chairs?
We have travel cots in each cottage, but you will have to provide the bedding. We also have high chairs, please let us know before your stay if these are required.
How are the steadings heated?
Each steading has underfloor heating, each room has a thermostat to adjust the room temperature during your stay, there is also a wood burning stove in each cottage the initial set of logs are free and then there is a charge of £5.00 per basket.
Is there wi-fi provided?
Yes there is free wi fi but, please be aware that we live in a rural area and do not have superfast broadband.
What should I do if I damage or break something?
Please report any breakages as early as possible, you may be asked to replace the item.
What supplies are there in the kitchen?
There is a scourer and dishcloth, kitchen towels,washing up liquid and handwash, a few dishwasher tablets and washing tablets ( non bio only) to get you started. We also supply tea, coffee, sugar and cooking oil.
Do you take dogs?
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement and must be kept on leads at all times when outside the property. Please also note there is no enclosed area outside the cottage.
Can I have a barbecue?
Yes, we have a barbecue you can borrow, just bring your own charcoal but no open fires please.
Can I do laundry?
Yes, we have a washing machine in each steading and a dryer in the boiler room where you can dry and store any wet clothing or footwear.
Can I book more than one steading?
Yes, you can book both the cottages if your party is too large to fit in one, the Stables can accommodate 4 people and the Byre can accommodate 6 people.
Is there wheelchair access?
The Byre is fully disabled accessible the Stables has all level access. We have a link on the site that takes you to full details for disabled access.
Is there a smoking policy?
There is a strict non smoking policy within both cottages.
